Business Spotlight: Welly’s & Wemmy’s Delivering a Delicious Local Story

In October 2009, business partners Wellington de Pinho and Wemerson Vieira opened their first neighborhood eatery, Welly’s Restaurant, in downtown Marlborough, naming it after de Pinho. Over the years, Welly’s has become a go-to destination for families, friends, and regulars who return time and again for quality food, great value and comforting hospitality.

Building on that success, the team expanded in April 2020 with a second Welly’s location in Hudson, right in the town circle. The latest Welly’s offers a similar dining experience and substantial outdoor seating on the revamped rotary sidewalks.

In August 2024, Vieira earned his own naming rights with the opening of Wemmy’s Restaurant in Marlborough, down the street from the original Welly’s. More upscale than the sister restaurants, Wemmy’s offers high-end steaks, a stylish lounge with a fireplace, and a function room that can accommodate up to 80 guests for private parties or corporate events. The restaurant’s elegant bar and atmosphere have made it an exciting new addition to the local dining scene.
