A recent federal court decision (Crawford v. Blue et al.) now requires refunds for the $25 court hearing request fee if a driver was found not responsible for all civil motor vehicle infractions on their citation. This applies to citations issued after September 22, 2017. If eligible, recipients should receive their refund within 60 days—provided their current address is on file with the RMV.
