Assabet Valley’s Co-op Program connects motivated seniors with local employers so they can earn real workplace experience while finishing their technical training. Murphy Insurance has partnered with Assabet to host students right here in Hudson, giving them a firsthand look at what a career in insurance actually looks like. We think community partnerships like this matter. They help students build confidence and skills, and they help us stay connected to the town we’ve served for years. It’s a small way we can invest in the people who will one day be running MetroWest’s businesses and homes.
As summer winds down and the next academic year approaches, we at Murphy Insurance Agency are both proud and a little wistful as we say goodbye to Ashley Pu Calderon, our most recent co-op student from Assabet Valley Regional Vocational Technical High School. While we’re sad to see her go, we’re incredibly excited for her as she begins her college journey
