HUDSON—Murphy Insurance Agency received the 2012 Central Massachusetts Family Business Awards. Each year, the Worcester Business Journal celebrates the achievements of a select group of the region’s most successful family business firms.

“Our family is grateful to receive this award,” said Dennis F. Murphy, Jr., CEO. But the success and longevity of our agency go far beyond the family. This award belongs to our entire staff because it is their daily commitment that makes our agency great. And we wouldn’t be here today without the trust and loyalty of our customers, who trust our guidance and recognize our care in making sure they are well protected.”

The agency and other Family Business Awards honorees will be recognized at an awards ceremony on June 20th at Cyprian Keyes Golf Club in Boylston. The other 2012 honorees are Camosse Masonry Supply, Worcester Airport Limousine, All Star Incentive Marketing, F. W. Madigan Company Inc., and Coghlin Electrical Contractors and Networking Services.
