Michael Murphy President
Thanksgiving requires many of us to travel to get to family. Please be extra careful if you are on the roads during the holiday because these are some of the most dangerous on the roads when you look at statistics for accidents and injuries. So that we can all be safe, here are a few things you can do to keep you, your family and other drivers on the road protected.
Rules for the road
- Buckle up
- Share the road...be patient if there are delays
- Avoid distracted driving...focus on the road and don’t text while driving
- Share driving duties with a companion
- Obey speed limits & road rules
- Stay alert...stop every two hours
- Don’t drink and drive
- Don’t drive drowsy or sleepy
- Give yourself plenty of time
thanks
Thanksgiving certainly is a time of celebration with gatherings of family and friends. It’s a time to take stock of all the things for which we are thankful…I have a long list. And, at the top of that list are all of our Murphy Insurance Agency customers. This year Murphy Insurance celebrates our 75th year in business, and we wouldn’t be here today without the loyalty of so many customers over the years. On behalf of the Murphy family and the Agency team, THANK YOU! We appreciate your business and your trust in us. We never take lightly our responsibility to help you protect all that you are thankful for this holiday and throughout the year.
Regardless of how or where you celebrate the holiday…be it big or small, all of us at Murphy Insurance Agency wish you and yours a safe and happy Thanksgiving.
