And, as you know, the Thanksgiving holiday and weekend are among the busiest travel days of the year and as a result some of the most dangerous for potential accidents. Whether you are traveling near or far, please take extra care. We want you to be safe, so remember to:

  • Buckle up
  • Share the road…be patient if there are delays
  • Avoid distracted driving…focus on the road and don’t text while driving
  • Share driving duties with a companion
  • Obey speed limits & road rules
  • Stay alert…stop every two hours
  • Don’t drink and drive
  • Don’t drive drowsy or sleepy
  • Give yourself plenty of time
