It encompasses a range of actions aimed at preventing accidents, injuries, and fatalities on the water, as well as protecting the environment and promoting responsible boating behavior.

Boat insurance is essential for protecting yourself and your loved ones, especially with unregistered boaters. While smaller watercraft may get limited coverage under homeowner policies, larger boats need separate, comprehensive insurance for adequate protection. Discuss coverage options with your agent to avoid gaps in protection.
This one-day basic boating course is designed for students aged 12 and up and meets the educational requirements for all states that mandate boater education. The course includes a Junior Operator Certificate test and is recognized across all 50 states. Insurance discounts may also be available for participants.

Cost: $45.00 (includes textbook, testing, and certificate of completion)
