As the first impression for the agency, the Support Representative will create a welcoming environment as they greet and assist walk-in guests. This position is key to ensuring that visitors feel valued and well-supported from the moment they arrive. The Support Representative will also provide administrative support for our busy Hudson office.
Location: Hudson
Job Type: Full-Time, the hours for this in-office, full-time position are: M-TH: 8am-4:30pm, F: 8am-4pm.
What You’ll Be Doing
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet walk-in clients or visitors in a professional and helpful manner.
- Answer incoming calls and direct caller to the appropriate person courteously and professionally. Record and deliver accurate phone messages.
- Answer client inquiries, as needed, or direct the inquiry to the person best able to assist the client.
- Perform accurate data entry on a daily basis regarding client policy cancellations and reinstatements.
- Submit change requests to carriers as requested by the customers.
- Sort and distribute Agency mail for several locations on a daily basis, including proper handling of mail bags received from other Agency branches.
- Provide requested information to Management on local merchants, company addresses or contact information as requested.
- Process payments received by walk-in customers and document accordingly.
- Assist sales, finance, and marketing departments with projects.

Skills & Qualifications:
- Basic Microsoft Office computer skills (Word, Outlook)
- Highly professional and pleasant phone manner for a busy office with multiple locations, and a multi-line telephone system
- Data entry skills, basic cashier skills, mail sorting & record keeping practices
- Effective communication skills, friendly and outgoing personality, organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to respond to requests effectively and efficiently
- Strong commitment to customer service excellence
- Ability to speak Portuguese and/or Spanish considered a plus
Education & Experience:
- High School diploma
- Minimum of 1-2 years of administrative/office support or customer service experience
- Previous P&C insurance experience helpful but not required
