Hopedale is on the southeastern edge of Worcester County approximately 32 miles southwest of Boston. Located along the Mill River, Hopedale is a historic mill village and is part of the Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor. The town was once home to Draper Corporation, the largest maker of textile looms in the nation. Today, the town is a mixture of steady residential and small industry growth. Residents have a well respected school district, the local high school is Hopedale Jr.- Sr. High School.
