Marlborough is a suburban city in Middlesex County, Massachusetts about twenty-nine miles west of Boston along Interstate 495, and Routes 20 & 85. It became a city due to the population size which is still steadily growing. Marlborough became a prosperous industrial town in the 19th century known for its shoe industry and has, in recent decades, transitioned to the high tech industry.
