The House of Representatives is expected to consider and debate legislation, recently released by the Financial Services Committee, which would regulate Transportation Network Companies (TNCs) like Uber and Lyft. Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker announced administration-wide measures to improve transparency and public access to government records and information, including a reduced and streamlined fee structure and more efficient communications and responses to requesters. The new procedures will be implemented over the coming weeks.
