Effective August 26, 2010, MA Law Chapter 116 requires that all liquor licensees that serve alcoholic beverages to be consumed on premises to provide proof of Liquor Liability Insurance when renewing or applying for a new license. This law represents a significant change requiring specific insurance coverage limits for any establishment holding a liquor-pouring license.
